Take actions that lead the body to lose control, from impulse, gravity or bodily effort. The body plays with the relationship between emotional and physical fall, between pleasure and pain. The inevitability of the fall and the impossibility of moving forward are the engine of this audiovisual piece. A universe where failure takes the first place to show its most vulnerable form in the filmic space. How can the fall be reflected in this space? On the falling body: Inspired and inclined by the conceptual artist Bas Jan Ader or the actor, screenwriter and director Buster Keaton, Mascherin plays between these lines of research. Being interested in existentialism and the common point between tragedy and humor: to reach an overcoming of laughter and pain. Facing the perspective that everything continues to turn and fall and making a parallelism with the day to day.
