This is the story of ska and reggae in the Basque Country, music we have sung and danced to but which started out as a rather strange phenomenon. It begins in the 80s, when “Potato” introduced the concept of Euskadi Tropikal, taking us through the evolution of this musical style until today. With Josu Zabala (Hertzainak), Pedro Espinosa (Potato), Juantxo Skalari (Skalariak), San Sebastian’s Revolutionary Brothers, Roberto Moso, Green Valley, Arrate Morales (Trikoma) and Zartako-K, among others.
