Kikol Grau

Graduate in History from the University of Barcelona. He has worked entirely independently for the TVE programme "Metropolis", making 6 programmes on cultural topics. He also works at the video archive and distributor Hamaca. His first film was “Objetivo Gadafi” ("Target Gaddafi"), a war film that dealt with the events of the Arab Spring in an informative, historical way. In 2015 he won first prize at the Dock of the Bay Festival in San Sebastián for his film “Las más macabras de las vidas” ("The Most Macabre of Lives"), in which he explained the political transition in Spain following the end of the Franco dictatorship through the discography of the punk band Eskorbuto. He is currently presenting “Inadaptados” and “No somos nada”, his third and fourth films to date, about the story of the bands Cicatriz and La Polla Records.
